Small Wonders Learning Centers |
Meet the members of 2k, Limited.. |
Kathy and Kellie met in 2000 when Kathy began watching Kellie’s daughter. A friendship formed fast as they found common ground in educational philosophy, faith, love for children, and humor. When the purchase of Tender Day Care Centers was offered to them, they were thrilled. In selecting a name they really wanted to show their belief that all children have the potential to learn and amaze us (such wonders). The logo of hand prints on a rainbow logo reflects Kellie and Kathy’s faith in God’s promise to them that they would become a compassionate, educational resource for the community. While getting to know the children and parents those first few years, they implemented developmental check lists and trained the staff in using checklists to improve lessons. They continue to work towards excellence in early childhood education by creating their own curriculum and encouraging staff to acquire their CDA credentials. They also strive to become a positive asset to the children and families of Fairfield County and surrounding areas. |
